Yu Dianli, a member of the Party Group of China Publishing Group Co., Ltd. and Deputy General Manager of China Publishing Media Co., Ltd., Gu Qing, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Director of the Commercial Press, Zhao Haiying, Member of the Standing Committee of the Dongcheng District Committee and Minister of Propaganda Department of Beijing, Feng Hailiang, Deputy Minister of Propaganda Department of the Dongcheng District Committee, Li Ping, General Manager of the Commercial Press, Chen Xiaowen, Chief Editor, and Meng Chuanliang, former Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the event and unveiled the Historical Exhibition Hall of the Commercial Press. The main project of the History Exhibition Hall of the Commercial Press took one and a half years to complete, with an exhibition area of over 400 square meters and an exhibition line of over 200 meters, containing over 700 images and over 70000 words of text. It also showcases important publications and historical documents from various periods, models of the Shanghai Baoshan Road Business Headquarters building complex in the 1920s, as well as cultural relics such as the organ and the "Four Part Series" bookshelf manufactured by the Commercial Press 100 years ago, The first detailed presentation of the 126 year history of business and cultural publishing.

Yu Dianli stated that the history of the Commercial Press is a valuable asset, a magnificent history of Chinese publishing, and a vivid portrayal of the revolutionary and struggle history of generations of advanced intellectuals who have "saved the country through education, publishing, and culture". Countless business sages have used their wisdom to organize national stories, spread new knowledge, and edited and published a large number of influential works, which have influenced several generations of Chinese people and played an important role in the development of China's modern education and cultural undertakings.
Gu Qing stated that in recent years, more and more enterprises, institutions, and the public have hoped to visit the Commercial Press, learn about its cultural and revolutionary traditions, and carry out activities such as nationwide reading together. As a result, the Historical Exhibition Hall of the Commercial Press has emerged. The exhibition hall will become an important patriotic education base, a platform for inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture, a base for cultural exchange between China and foreign countries, a practice base for primary and secondary school classrooms, a base for reading activities for the whole people, and a checkpoint for cultural activities. It is reported that in 2021, the Fuzhou branch of the Commercial Press was unveiled, and the "Fuzhou Celebrities and Historical Sites Exhibition of the Commercial Press", which perfectly integrates the history of the Commercial Press with the history and culture of Fuzhou, uncovering many cultural celebrities and histories of Fuzhou. In 2017, during the "Two Sessions" in Shanghai, Ma Chi, Fang Rong, Ma Qiang and other members of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference jointly submitted a proposal for the establishment of a memorial hall for the former site of the Commercial Press, calling for the establishment of a memorial hall for the former site of the Commercial Press in Shanghai to carry the publishing history and red culture of modern China. In 2022, the Commercial Press reopened the "Hongkou Branch of the Commercial Press" in Shanghai, becoming an important cultural living room in Shanghai.
